Rules

Before we start...
My commissions are 16+, preferably!

For a further and more indepth explanation...
❌ I do not do anything:
Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, ableist, etc., including direct targeted content toward someone you do or don't know, ie, your character being rude to a character meant to be someone irl. Anything that can come off as politically charged, even in the slightest, I will not do. I will not draw characters who are problematically abusive towards each other or real-life instances of any abuse you've experienced. Unless it's a couple's photo of you and someone you know, I refuse to draw real-life strangers/celebrities/etc. with yourself or someone else. I will not do detailed depictions of the body unclothed; however, I can do undetailed depictions. Ex: I will not draw an artistically nude character with clear details, but I can draw them if you cannot clearly see any NSFW parts.✅ I can do anything:
Representation gore if it's Halloween themed or loosely based is okay! Ex. a zombie version of a pet. I can draw characters with unnatural body proportions; however, if the character makes me feel too uncomfortable, then I will not draw them. Ex. a character with a larger chest is okay, as long as it's not comically larger than the entire character.

Human Characters

Please note, I am not experienced in drawing human characters, so I may decline them if I feel they are too complex. Also, please know that (since I'm not as experienced in humans) my drawing capabilities will be limited, and that the drawing may not turn out how you'd like it (you'll definitely need to walk me through any features you'd like me to add or change if it's not accurate).
I refuse to draw any self-portraits or real people. This includes celebrities, friends, family, yourself, etc., so please do not send me any pictures or videos of yourself.
If you have a self-insert drawn or 3D model of yourself (Ex. a character customized in a game), then I can try my best to work with that!

Terms of Service

🍉Please be very clear with the drawing(s) you'd like me to make.

_{I work in EST (Eastern Standard Time), so please be mindful of time zones!}

🍉All commissioned artworks must be credited (@novellty_5).
You may not remove/tamper with my signature nor claim the artwork as your own.

🍈My payment types are Ko-Fi and Cash App.
_{I will not accept in-game currencies/items, art trades, services (ex., offering to make a beat), etc., for a commission.}

🍉I have the right to decline any commission.

🍈I refuse to restart a drawing from scratch.
_{I can do minor changes to finished drawings; however, I do have the right to decline any changes if I feel it is too difficult or if it would require me to make a major change first.}

🍉My commissions are strictly for personal use only.
_{This means commissioned artworks cannot be used in any way, shape, or form, for commercial monetary gain unless agreed upon.}

🍈Please do not send the full payment before I am finished.
_{I ask for half the amount just in case something happens along the way. Please don't send the other half until the end. Likewise, I will not continue/start a commission if you cannot pay half of the amount prior to completion. If I cannot complete a piece after the first initial payment, it will be completely refunded.}

🍉I absolutely refuse to work with AI.
_{I will not work on a character that uses AI reference images or is entirely created by AI. I will also refuse to edit in any AI assets or use AI enhancements. Likewise, you do not have the right to use my artwork for any AI training or personal AI enhancements.}

🍈I refuse to draw characters with no references.
_{If you have an image where I can clearly see the character and their colors, that's fine! If the only image(s) you have are fully rendered/shaded, lacking colors, or are in a style that doesn't accurately depict the character, I will not be able to work with it.}

🍉Currently, I will not work on reference sheets.

🍈Please only use my contact information to contact me for art.
_{Do not reach out to vent, over-share personal information, or to personally make friends. If you're going on a long hiatus/break and will be unavailable, let me know!
(I will not work on any backgrounds or shading until you get back. I will work on flat colors and line art as those are easier to change later.)}

🍉You may use the art as profile pictures, banners, etc. However, I must be credited each time (same thing with reuploading/posting).

Payment Policy

☆Payment:
You will have to pay $5 upfront. After the sketch is finished, you will pay half of the payment. Once the piece is finished, you will pay the remaining payment.
_{Note: the initial first $5 is not 5 extra dollars, it is a part of the total price, you should only be paying what you've commissioned for.}This does not apply to a head shot with no shading and no/solid background (for this, you'll pay $5 before I start and $5 after it's finished).☆Example:

Half of the payment after the sketch

The rest of the Payment for the complete drawing

Neck up/no shading/solid bg=$15
You'll pay $5 before I start, half of the remaining amount ($5) after the sketch, and the rest ($5) once the drawing is finished.
The final paid price will still be $15!✨If this is a bit confusing, no worries! I'll help you through the calculations and tell you exactly how much needs to be paid at each interval.

Refund Policy

☆Refunds:
All final payments are...well...final! Once I am finished with the drawing, the complete payment cannot be refunded; likewise, I will not make any changes or adjustments after the picture is done (unless I've stated otherwise, again, this is something that can be negotiated, so feel free to ask).
If I haven't started the sketch phase, I will refund the $5 prepaid. I will not refund the $5 after the sketch is finished. If you have paid half the payment after the sketch and you'd like a refund before I start, I will refund the half payment only. If I have finished the line art, I will not refund the payment.
This is solely in order to keep art thieves at bay; I do not want to fully refund a piece just for someone to still use it without my permission.

The $5 can be refunded before I finish the sketch.

I can refund the half payment if I have not finished the line art; however, the first $5 is not included.

Beyond the line art phase payment is non-refundable.

Payment must be paid in full for the finished drawing.
